She holds a bachelor degree in English Studies from the University of Georgia, and has received Certificates of Achievement in Small and Medium Entrepreneurship and Business Law. At the age of 18, she began running her own English translation and tutoring business, and at the age of 23, became the sole financial support for her family. In 2006, Nino was one of 10 international applicants chosen from a pool of 4,000 for a USAID program which allowed her to spend several months in the United States learning business skills she could then share with other young professionals in Georgia.
Since then, she has devoted a significant portion of her time to mentoring young, up and coming professionals around the world. In addition, she often serves as a volunteer business manager and representative for international brands seeking entrance to the U.S. market. One of her current success stories is Orovela Wines, which is now found on shelves and in restaurants all over Manhattan.
In 2011, after two decades of living and working around the world, Nino moved to America and made her home in New York City. She now indulges her life-long love of running with a daily jog in Central Park and often participates in races as a member of NYRR. Her other interests include dance and travel, both of which feed her love of learning about other cultures.
